Siya Vit Se-E

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES: 
 
VITAMIN E and selenium are antioxidant substances having biological activities completing each other in prevention of degenerative diseases due to peroxidation in cell membranes and   cell internal structures and maintaining the normal structure of the cells.
 
AREA OF USAGE:
 
It is used in the treatment of encephalomalacial, muscular dystrophy and hemorrhagic diathesis and other deficiency diseases due to lack of vitamin E and selenium in poultry  as well as the treatment of muscle dystrophy due to vitamin E and selenium deficiency in horses, It is also used in prevention and treatment of white muscle disease in lambs, calves and goats.
 
USAGE AND DOSAGE:
 
Siya Vit Se-E is used by adding to drinking water or by mixing with milk by giving orally. 100 g (1 bag) is added to 20 liters of drinking water for treatment in poultry or by adding 100 g (1 bag) to 40 liters of drinking water for protection.
 
This application is continued for 5-7 days. 15 g is given at one time for 40 to 50 kg body weight to horses, cattle, sheep and goats for protection. This is repeated with 2-3 week intervals 4-5 times or as needed. It is given against white muscle disease for protection to lambs, calves and kids in the dose of 5 g 1 time for each 20 kg of body weight. This application is continued fr with 2-3 week intervals as needed. It can be used in pregnancy.
 
DRUG INTERACTIONS:
 
It reduces the effect of rancidity in feed and therefore fats with highly oxidized polymerization and dimerization  as well as oxidizing environment conditions and ultraviolet drugs. Metal ions and nitric contaminants also reduce the absorption of vitamin E.
 
MEASURES SPECIFIED in OVERDOSE ANTIDOTES
 
Applications such as giving at a time several times more than the recommended dose or giving for several days or giving for a long time leads to chronic selenosis. Hatchability in poultry decreases, embryonic defects occur. Main symptoms in mammals are acute selenosis, pain, diarrhea, abnormal posture and movement disorders, dyspnoea, circulatory failure and coma; cracks and deformation in nails in chronic selenosis, separation of the nail at an advanced stage, weakening, lameness, fertility and yield loss.
